Bali, 13 February 2026 – ACS Bali, a new International School in Bali offering the Cambridge Curriculum, marked Chinese New Year with a vibrant cultural celebration that brought together students, teachers, and families across the school community. The event reflected ACS Bali’s commitment to holistic education, global citizenship, and meaningful learning experiences for both primary school and secondary students.

The celebration opened with a formal ceremony followed by a dynamic Lion Dance performance, a highlight of the day. Symbolising prosperity, courage, and good fortune, the Lion Dance aligned with ACS Bali’s educational philosophy of character development and international-mindedness, core values embedded within the Cambridge Curriculum and the school’s broader academic framework.

Students from both the Primary School and Secondary School year levels participated enthusiastically in the programme. As an International School committed to nurturing global awareness from an early age, ACS Bali integrates cultural understanding into daily learning, enabling students to appreciate diverse traditions while developing strong academic foundations.

Following the performance, students attended a cultural talk titled “Chinese New Year Unpacked”, where they explored the history, symbolism, and global significance of Chinese New Year celebrations. The session reinforced ACS Bali’s role as a Cambridge-aligned International School that balances academic rigour with cultural literacy and real-world learning.

The programme continued with student cultural performances, a lucky draw, and interactive workshops including Calligraphy Blessings and Lantern Making. These hands-on activities provided Primary and Secondary School students with experiential learning opportunities that complemented classroom learning within a structured Cambridge environment.

The celebration concluded with closing remarks and a Chinese Food Sharing (Potluck) session, fostering a strong sense of community among students, teachers, and parents. Such shared experiences reflect ACS Bali’s emphasis on collaboration, respect, and inclusivity within its International School setting.

Through celebrations such as Chinese New Year, ACS School Bali continues to strengthen its position as a trusted International School delivering the Cambridge Curriculum, where academic excellence, character education, and cultural understanding are nurtured throughout Primary School and Secondary School.
